How accessible this site is, what we measured and fixed, what is still imperfect, and how to tell us if something blocks you.

Our commitment
We want anyone to be able to read this site and send us an enquiry, whatever equipment they use. If something here blocks you, tell us and we will fix it — you should not have to work around our website to do business with us.
This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. That is the standard most public bodies and large buyers require of their suppliers.
What we have done
Colour contrast was measured across the whole palette rather than judged by eye, and every combination in use now meets or exceeds the minimum. Four failures were found and corrected:

Beyond contrast, the site does the following:
- Every page starts with a “Skip to content” link, and all content sits inside proper landmark regions with a single main heading.
- Every form field has a real label, required fields are announced as required rather than marked only with an asterisk, and errors and confirmations are announced to screen readers.
- Everything can be operated by keyboard alone, including the mobile menu and the scrollable tables on these policy pages. Focus is always visible, with an outline that survives Windows high-contrast mode.
- All animation — scroll reveals, the moving logo band, counters, the map — stops when your system is set to reduce motion. Nothing flashes.
- Text reflows to 320px and can be zoomed to 200% without content being lost or cut off, and no page scrolls sideways.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers rather than announced as noise.
- If JavaScript is unavailable, all content still appears — nothing is hidden behind an animation that never runs.
Known limitations
We would rather list these than claim the site is perfect.
- Very old browsers. The site is built and tested for Safari 14+, Chrome 88+, Firefox 85+ and their mobile equivalents. Older browsers get a plainer page — some rounded corners, smooth transitions and the animated map are missing — but all content and every form remains usable.
- The bot check on the careers form. The application form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party challenge we do not control. It is designed to pass most people invisibly, but if it blocks you, email your application to info@perceptionimpex.com and we will treat it exactly the same.
- The world map on the Global Reach page. It is a decorative illustration of our export destinations. The same countries are listed in text on the page, so nothing is available only in the map.
- No formal audit yet. Our claim rests on our own measurement and testing, not an independent third-party assessment.

Status of this statement
This statement applies to perceptionimpex.com and all pages on it. It was prepared on 7 September 2026 following a review and remediation of the whole site, based on our own testing rather than an external audit. We review it whenever the site changes materially.
